Installation - 3.5" Caddy with 2.5" adapter - 13th-11th Generation

Installation Guide:

In the package, you will find two sizes of screws. The larger ones are meant for installing 3.5-inch hard disks, while the smaller ones are intended for installing 2.5-inch hard disks and a 2.5-inch converter. The screws are packed separately, making it easy to identify their size differences.

To install a 2.5-inch hard disk with a 2.5-inch converter, follow these steps:

  1. Start by attaching the 2.5-inch hard disk to the 2.5-inch converter. Align the frame and the hard disk as shown in the picture, then secure them together using two smaller screws. Ensure that the connectors of the hard disk are facing backward.
  2. Next, place the assembled unit into the 3.5-inch drive caddy, making sure that the hard drive connector is facing backward. Check that the connectors align with the rear end of the drive caddy, allowing the screw holes (two on each side) to align properly.
    1. Flip the caddy over and secure it in place using the two smaller screws.

That's it! The installation is now complete. For your convenience, use the stickers provided with the product to mark the drive caddy. We have also included a few extra screws for your use.
